MEDA's Karoleen Feng Awarded Certificate of Honor from San Francisco Board of Supervisors, Affordable-Housing Work Praised

As MEDA staff filled the pews at the regular Tuesday San Francisco Board of Supervisors’ meeting today at City Hall, it was anything but a “regular” day for Karoleen Feng, who is usually busy crunching numbers on complex real estate transactions that will reverse displacement.

That’s because District 11 Supervisor Asha Safai (photo, back row, forth from left) had put forth a commendation recognizing the almost 1,200 affordable-housing units preserved or in the pipeline to be produced in San Francisco because of the leadership of MEDA’s hardworking Feng (photo, back row, fifth from left).  

“Karoleen, a young woman of color, is one of the most dynamic housing developers in the Bay Area,” explained Supervisor Safai on why this commendation was being awarded.
