Let’s Keep the Mission a Neighborhood of Opportunity!
San Francisco’s Mission District has always been a supportive place for low-income and immigrant Latinos. It’s now one of the most unaffordable neighborhoods in the country. In fact, 8,000 Latinos have been forced from their homes since 2000 — that’s over 25 percent of this community. MEDA is using our 40+ years of experience to keep Latinos and working families in the Mission District and help them thrive. We are investing in people’s lives through affordable housing, career and small-business development, financial coaching, education and more.
We work collaboratively and need your help to rebuild this community. Would you be interested in supporting our work?

How Valuable is Your Donation?
As 92% of MEDA’s clients are defined as low- to moderate-income, we offer all of our services at NO COST. Your donation helps provide thousands of families with the education and training they need to achieve economic success!
A monthly donation provides MEDA with a predictable source of income and allows you to maximize your donation. It’s the easiest way to give and ensure that the more than 7,300+ clients we currently serve receive your ongoing support.
Planned Giving, Wills, Charitable Gift Annuities and Trusts
You can leave a legacy that ensures MEDA will continue to provide vital services for low-and moderate-income families that want to achieve economic success for years to come. Gifs of stock, real estate, annuities and life insurance policies can maximize your charitable impact, while also allowing you to receive several tax benefits.
