“Access Your Career Fair 2019” is Slated for May 23

Bring you resume — and your confidence — on Thursday, May 23, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. for the “Access Your Career Fair 2019.” (Register for free.)

The San Francisco venue will be Saint Joseph’s Arts Society, an exhibition space and arts club located at 1401 Howard St.. MEDA is partnering with the San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development (OEWD), FACES SF, Goodwill Industries International, Hospitality House, Self-Help for the Elderly, Success Centers and Young Community Developers to bring this important event to the community.

There will be on-site interview possibilities, so be sure to dress for success. Career opportunities will run the gamut from hospitality, customer service and technology to finance/administration and warehouse/logistics. Many jobs offer a benefits package, some including health care.

Over 40 employers will be on hand. Of note are such major players as Safeway, Allied Universal, UPS, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Target and vendors from San Francisco International Airport.

States Workforce Coach Jose Mariscal, ”MEDA is proud to be a partner in this event, with so many big-name employers on hand. This career fair is the ideal place to learn of the many opportunities currently out there for jobseekers.”

The team can conduct mock interviews and offer tips on how to make a great first impression to potential employers,” explains Mariscal.
