b'As a backbone agency, MEDA leveraged the trust built over five decades with community members and partners. Showcasing the epitome of good government, we also partnered with local, state and federal agencies. The MEDA team was well prepared to efficiently disburse government funds so our families kept a roof over their heads and food on their tables. Addi-tionally, we worked alongside imperiled family-run businesses to offer 0%-interest loans and grants, while also providing technical assistance so they could best weather the crisis. All told, approximately 12,000 community members were engaged by our services, community outreach, tenancy and diverse programs in 2021. ElOur theme of MISINUNIDA showcases how our local Mission community is united toward an equitable recovery. At the same time, our theme resonates across the nation, as we are sharing our models with a score of organizations serving those in both urban que no and rural areas.
