Luis Granados
Chief Executive Officer
Luis Granados has proudly led the Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA) since 1999. During his tenure, Luis has worked to create asset-development opportunities for San Francisco low- to moderate-income Latino families.
MEDA has become a strong, place-based community development organization with several business lines, including: becoming a backbone organization for the Mission District community, spearheading the integration of a comprehensive asset development services continuum, becoming an affordable housing developer – which now has a portfolio of over 2,500 affordable housing preserved or produced units, creating a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), and integrating formal policy and advocacy into MEDA’s work to create systemic change – including the creation of 501(c)(4) organization.
