We cordially invite you to support ¡Viva MEDA!, our 39th Anniversary Celebration! Our event will take place on Thursday, September 27th, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. at the City Club in downtown San Francisco.
Join us for food, cocktails, and dancing as we celebrate MEDA’s accomplishments in creating economic opportunity for low- and moderate-income Latino families. The event will also honor individuals and community members who’ve had a profound impact on our community through their commitment to social justice. Event honorees will be announced in the coming weeks.

Your sponsorship will support MEDA in its commitment to achieving economic justice for San Francisco’s low- and moderate-income Latino families through the development of personal, social, and financial assets. MEDA provides relevant services for the community, which includes financial coaching, first-time homebuyer and foreclosure intervention counseling, business technical assistance, and free tax preparation to over 4,000 individuals per year. MEDA is also the developer and owner of Plaza Adelante, a new 21,000 square foot community and financial services resource center, and is planning the Mission Promise Neighborhood Initiative, a collaborative effort with the San Francisco’s Mayor’s Office, School District, and over 60 nonprofit partners to foster student achievement and economic success for the Mission District’s low-income families.
