MEDA’s Digital Opportunity Center provides free digital literacy training (basic and intermediate), employment training, job placement and career advancement opportunities. All trainings are provided in English and Spanish.
The Digital Opportunity Center is a San Francisco CERTIPORT Microsoft Office Specialist Testing Center, offering Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 2010 Specialist Exams. Intuit QuickBooks training is also offered.
Families can learn about low-cost internet and computer options for their homes.
Basic Digital Literacy (BDL):
Classes are held Mondays and Fridays, 9:30am-12pm. Also, we have an open lab on Mondays and Fridays, 12pm to 3pm.

- What is a webpage and how to use the Internet to look up information
- How to open an email account and how to attach a file to email

- Job Search
- Financial Capability
Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants finishing the course with an 80% attendance and completing basic digital literacy training milestones.
