Program Summary:
Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA) is a community-based, local economic development organization which has engaged individuals and small businesses in community-building strategies for over 40 years. Our mission is to achieve economic justice for San Francisco’s low and moderate income Latino families through asset development. The Evaluation Department at MEDA is critical in measuring our success. This department leads our efforts to ensure that our programs are serving MEDA’s mission and are achieving maximized results.
Purpose:
The Evaluation Volunteer will work on special projects for the Department, including analyzing data, designing surveys, metrics, and mapping.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with development of evaluation plans
- Design surveys
- Assist with research projects
- Help to track outcomes
Qualifications:
- Must be computer literate (working knowledge of word processing, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Proficiency in Salesforce
- Strong writing ability.
- Must be extremely reliable and able to follow through on commitments.
- Must have an understanding of the basic principles of evaluation
- Must be flexible and willing to work in a fast-paced office environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are preferred
