Program Summary:
Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA) is a community-based, local economic development organization which has engaged individuals and small businesses in community-building strategies for over 40 years. Our mission is to achieve economic justice for San Francisco’s low and moderate income Latino families through asset development.
MEDA’s Technology program assists parents, families, and individuals in San Francisco to learn how to use computers and the internet, and to integrate these tools into their daily lives. MEDA has an aggressive target to ensure that every child who lives in or goes to school in the Mission has access to a highspeed Internet connection and a computer in the home. MEDA offers multi-week trainings both onsite at Plaza Adelante as well as in the four Mission Promise Neighborhood schools.
