MEDA’s Housing Opportunities program provides one-on-one coaching sessions and group workshop curriculum in English and Spanish.

Homeowners also learn how to protect themselves from predatory lenders and coaches conduct loan document reviews. MEDA is a HUD-Approved Housing Counseling agency and a member of the local collaborative known as HomeownershipSF, which strongly advocates for affordable housing.

FORECLOSURE INTERVENTION & DEFAULT COACHING

Are you in the process of — or at risk of — losing your home to foreclosure? MEDA is here to help you identify the best solution for your situation. RENTAL PREPAREDNESS

MEDA’s Rental Preparedness program provides future, new, and current renters with relevant financial education, credit counseling, information on types of rentals from market rate to affordable, what to expect as a renter, lease education, and assistance programs.

GET YOUR OWN HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES COACH!

MEDA is here to help with personalized attention as you seek secure housing. For those looking to buy a home, it is required that you attend one of MEDA’s First-Time Homebuyer’s workshops prior to meeting with one of our coaches for a one-on-one session. Those looking to have everything in order for an apartment rental in San Francisco must attend our Rental Preparedness workshop before receiving their Housing Opportunities coach. If you have attended a workshop in the past, please provide copies of your supporting documents.
