Your Career Opportunity
As the Workforce Development Program Manager you will be is responsible for developing, managing and maintaining workforce development services and partnerships that will ensure leveraging of resources and the sustainability of the program. You are responsible for maintaining and expanding an integrated services coaching model that incorporates Financial Capability for every client. This includes internal operations, external network collaborations, and fundraising relationships. You will coordinate program outcomes, staff management, as well as integration initiatives across MEDA’s sets of work. The Workforce community impact strategies include: The Neighborhood Access Point, Mission Techies and Mission Admins career training programs, and the Building Trades local hire initiative.
Specifically, you will:
- Lead neighborhood collective impact initiatives which provide wrap-around support and related services to assist job seekers to address and overcome significant employment barriers
- Oversee the Mission Techies and Mission Admins career training programs for community development and to leverage employer connections.
Your Keys to Success - Minimum of 3-5 years of high-level management/program work experience, experience in a multi-fund non-profit agency strongly preferred, including experience developing, applying for and securing funds for a range of business, community or social development programs.
- Bilingual and written skills in Spanish/English required.
- Knowledge and proficient use of software technology that assists in tracking program results.
- Leadership and teambuilding skills that will motivate staff and assist in working effectively with community partners and funders.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred
