The VISTA will be supporting SparkPoint Plaza Adelante with client engagement and retention efforts by researching and implementing effective and sustainable strategies to improve our program’s outcomes. The VISTA member will also work to develop a Center-specific model for volunteers to work at SparkPoint Plaza Adelante in San Francisco in the support of client engagement and retention. SparkPoint Plaza Adelante will also work with the VISTA to develop a revised and in-depth resource and procedures manual to promote better partner integration and more effective teamwork. Finally, the VISTA will document expansion efforts into a Community School model through our Mission Promise Neighborhood grant under the Family Economic Success program. The VISTA will act as part of the team to develop strategies to ensure this long-term project’s success.
