To celebrate this season of giving and thankfulness, every Wednesday we will showcase staff, Board members, volunteers and clients telling what this Mission District, San Francisco nonprofit brings to their lives.
It really upsets me to know that the people who have created such a wonderful community here in the Mission are being forced from their homes. The displacement that is occurring is awful for the individuals and families affected, and it is also a great loss for San Francisco as a whole. I am so glad that MEDA is fighting for the Mission community, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this work.
