Why I Give Wednesday: MEDA Executive Director Luis Granados

1954-12282015_DEV-Luis Granados Why I Give Wednesday Image_blog_v1To celebrate this season of giving and thankfulness, every Wednesday we will showcase staff, Board members, volunteers and clients telling what this Mission District, San Francisco nonprofit brings to their lives.

MEDA is incredibly grateful for the community’s continued dedication, vision and guidance, which enabled our organization in 2015 to provide free services to over 7,000 low-income individuals, start our Adelante Fund for community lending and grow our Community Real Estate work. Such work takes funding.

“MEDA staff and board members have been donating to our nonprofit because they believe in their work.

“To the many of you who have already made a donation to MEDA in 2015, I send you my heartfelt thanks. To the rest of the community, I hope you, too, will consider donating to our mission.

“Whether you can give $10, $100 or $1,000, your donation can change a life.  Please also reach out to your friends, neighbors, family and colleagues to make a donation.

“As we enter 2016, I am more focused than ever on the importance of working toward building an inclusive and prosperous Mission community.”
