Microenterprise Technical Assistance
Our business development program assists entrepreneurs in San Francisco to start and expand their businesses. Services provided through individual consultations and group workshop curriculum, in both English and Spanish, include access to capital, business assessment, business planning, financial projections and budgeting, marketing, lease consultation, and services tailored specifically to family childcare providers in San Francisco. To be eligible for these free services, entrepreneurs must be meet income eligibility requirements and own (or plan to own) a microenterprise in San Francisco. A microenterprise is defined as a business with five employees or less, including the owner(s).

Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center:

MEDA believes quality childcare is an integral part of a healthy community. The Family Childcare Business Development Program helps providers and early childhood educators to establish and grow successful operations.
Through individualized consultations and workshops, our consultants identify childcare providers’ needs and develop strategies and systems to address them. Whether starting or expanding a childcare business, we can assist you free-of-charge every step of the way, in English or Spanish.
